An Extraordinary Presentation of a Human Psittacosis: Mimicing Acute
AbstractChlamydia psittaci is an intracellular organism causing psittacosis
which is found in psittacine birds and can be transmitted to humans by
inhalation or direct contact. Here we present a case of human
psittacosis mimicing acute monocytic leukemia which demonstrates an
extraordinary clinical presentation of psittacosis.
