Abstract

In this work, we study a parallel Schwarz method for a class of elliptic variational inequalities. The domain is split into \(m\) sub-domains with overlapping nonmatching grids. The principal result of this investigation is to prove the error estimate in \(L^{\infty}\)-norm, making use of a geometrical convergence, and the uniform convergence.
