Abstract

The aim of this study to is to investigate the power of InSAR to estimate the current position of the combustion front in the Suplacu de Barcau field. We find the average elastic properties of the formation by matching the sinusoidal surface movement caused by cyclic steam injection. Then we apply these values to predict the surface change during the in-situ combustion (ISC). If such behavior is observed in the surface level, we conclude the combustion front from such behavior.
