Traditional live performance is losing a share of audiences because of its style limitations which are caused by the liveness of performance. Since the liveness is a really important characteristic of live performance, we need to keep it but break the limitations. New media technology is a good way to help enhance the experience and increase the viewership of live performance. This article mainly discussed what are the limitations of traditional live performance and how to break them by using new media technologies.
