33 cycle PhD candidate: Mesrop Andriasyan
Research Line: 1.3 Innovative Technologies for High-Performance Buildings
Topic: Characterization of thermo-acoustical behavior of temporary constructions for emergency and assessment of different scenarios of non-invasive and reversible thermo-acoustical use.
Date:
Friday, April 20
09:30 – 13:45
Place:
Aula Consiglio
Involved supervisors: Zanelli, Piana (uniBS), Utica, Guazzotti
Invited reviewers: Mazzarella
Chair: Carvelli
The meeting took around 30 minutes, of which 20 minutes presentations and 10 minutes of discussion.
Remarks by Prof. Mazzarella
- A methodology has to be prepared that will serve as a baseline upon which the research is going to be carried on
- All the simulations need to be explained in details (what software/techniques are used and so on)
- The research has 2 degrees of freedom. One in terms of the material/composite that the emergency structure is made of, second in terms of shape. These two dimensions should be leveraged to obtain good solutions.
Remarks by Prof. Carvelli
- For future presentations take into account that the board members may not be aware of some details of the topic so more explanations have to be made on those.
- Not to focus on climatic zones for which the solutions are going to be made but rather focus on the approaches that can serve the problem.
