Now type up a simple message complimenting the owner on the quality of their channel and asking if they would check yours and subscribe to it if they think it is worthwhile. Save this message template in a Word document so you can easily copy and paste it repeatedly. Next click on the channel you want to approach and click on the 'Add as Friend' button, as well as the 'Subscribe' button. Subscribing to them first is an act of goodwill that should improve your chances of success. Be sure to note down the name of the channel owner if they list it.

For each channel you want to approach click on the 'Send Message' button and paste your prepared message into the content box. You should use the person's name if they list it on their channel as this makes your introduction more personal. You'll need to put a simple subject line in as well.
