KUBOTA Koji studied biochemistry at Tottori University Faculty of Agriculture and worked as a quality assurance stuff at a pharmaceutical company. After that, he entered the doctoral course at Hiroshima University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where he studied analytical chemistry and biochemistry. In 2016, he received a Ph.D. (pharmacy) degree and worked as an assistant professor of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Yasuda Women's University and Iryo Sosei University. From April 2021, he is in charge of clinical chemistry as an associate professor at Sanyo Women's Junior College. His current specialty is structural chemistry and physicochemical studies of the effects of surfactants on skin barrier function.
