Jacob Bornstein MD, MPA, is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Galilee Medical Center and Bar-Ilan University, Israel, and Honorary Professor, Buenos Aires University, School of Medicine.
He is is a past President of the ISSVD and is currently the chairman of the ISSVD terminology Committee. In this role, he introduced consensus terminologies of vulvodynia, of VIN, and colposcopy of the cervix, vagina and vulva.
He received the “Distinguished Scientific Award” of the American Colposcopy Society and the “ISSVD President award of Merit”.
